Grief Support Group
Are you grieving for a deceased loved one? We have help for you. Sunday's at 3:00 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church's Fellowship Hall, Rev. Warren Rueland leads a grief support group called "Broken Heart Repair". It doesn't matter if your grief is recent or old; for a human or a pet, there's a place for you in this group to help your heart heal. Please call the office for more information 256-734-5901.
Faith and Fellowship
Families like to eat when they get together, and our church family is no exception! Our Faith and Fellowship group meets every Tuesday at the church at 11:30 a.m. to share our lives and our faith with each other. Bring a bag lunch and join us.
Summer Family Night Suppers
During the months of June - August on the second Thursday of the month, we host a supper for our church family and anyone in the community who would like to join us. The food is homecooked by church members and it's yummy! And we do the dishes! Please join us at 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The next date is August 14th, 2025.
Fifth Sunday
Four months in 2025 have five Sundays: March, June, August and November. It is our tradition to celebrate "Fifth Sunday" with a breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall and we worship the Lord together at 10:30 a.m. through song the entire service. The congregation gets to select all the hymns. And, although we have tried, we have never once stumped Jeff, our organist!
